Summer’s around the corner, but for startup founders, it’s often the best time to work behind the scenes, focus, and get ready for the second half of 2019. From Berlin’s APX, to London’s celebrated Emerge Education, to Paris’ Nextstars, we’ve rounded up 7 European startup accelerators that could catapult your startup into the next level.

1. Accelerance, Copenhagen (Denmark).

They have acceleration programs focused on Technology, Cleantech, Soundtech, Foodtech, Life Science & Biotech, MedTech & Health Care, which last between 6 and 8 months. Applications close on July 1st here.

2. APX (Axel Springer Porsche GmbH), Berlin (Germany)

Their program is quite unique: They work with startups directly to deliver a tailor-made program for each team. Their early-stage investment approach highlights personal development, and offers a €50,000 investment for 5% of equity.

They also offer a global network and office space in Berlin, at the heart of the city’s startup scene. They admit new founders and teams on a monthly basis, so you can apply anytime here.

3. Emerge Education, London (UK)

If you are running an EdTech startup, Emerge Education acts as a bridge between you and universities, schools, and corporates. They invest between £50,000 and £200,000 into startups with the potential to get to £100,000 MRR in 12 to 18 months. They select 5 startups per year, and accept applications on an ongoing basis here.

4. Entrepreneur First, London (UK)

Described as the world’s leading talent investor, Entrepreneur First invests time and money in the world’s most talented and ambitious individuals, helping them to find a co-founder, develop an idea, and start a company.

They run cohorts twice a year, in six different cities around the globe: Berlin, London, Paris, Hong Kong, Bangalore, and Singapore. They invest £ 15,000, plus a monthly allowance, for 8% equity. Applications for Berlin, London and Paris close on July 7th here.

5. Rebelbio, Cork (Ireland)

The world’s first life sciences accelerator, Rebelbio takes startups to their labs at Imperial College London White City Incubator for 3 months, in order to learn how to turn science into tangible products and scalable businesses.

Aside from investing up to £200,000, they offer access to a fully equipped biosafety level lab, co-working space, dedicated mentorship and the support of a network of RebelBio alumni, investors, corporates and press partners. Each programme culminates with an Investor Month, but the relationship doesn’t. You can apply here.

6. Startup Bootcamp Smart City and IOT Amsterdam (Amsterdam, Netherlands)

They invest €15,000 for 8% equity. Their 3-month innovation program focuses on the selected companies, providing them with access to a global network of industry experts, business mentors, investors, and corporate partners. Intense mentorship, guided support, top-level masterclasses, pitching opportunities and networking events. You can apply here.

7. Nextstars, Paris (France)

Founded in 2012 by entrepreneurs and business angels, Nextstars has developed a unique model for launching and financing innovative startups. Each year, their teams and mentors allow the emergence of numerous projects as part of our research, acceleration and funding programs.
