Founded in 2016 in Egypt by Syrian entrepreneur Sami Al-Ahmad alongside Egyptian entrepreneurs Abdullah Samy and Ahmed El Gebaly, the educational platform has grown to become the MENA Region’s largest EdTech platform, racking up 2.4 millions visits per month.
Startups Without Borders has just launched the second edition of the summit, themed “Brave New World,” which will take place on November 14th in a Hybrid online-offline format, live streamed from the Netherlands, Cairo and San Francisco.
Organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, the event gathered 101 teams and more than 800 attendees to come up with ideas aimed at presenting the kingdom, and the world, with viable solutions to the challenges posed by the pandemic.
