SINGA Italia has just launch the call for applications for their second incubation cycle. For 5 months, -their program takes entrepreneurs through a journey to transform their ideas into thriving businesses. The incubator is looking for entrepreneurs who were born outside the EU, have an entrepreneurial idea, and are living in Milan or surrounding areas.
The organization, a part of one of Europe’s most active business incubator networks for migrants, launched their Business Lab in Italy in 2019, with the first batch of entrepreneurs working across diverse industries, from co-working spaces for artisans, to entrepreneur support organizations, to logistics startups.
With hubs in Germany, France, Belgium and other countries, SINGA has been one of the region’s most active network of incubators, having supported refugee and migrant entrepreneurs like Raafat Hantouch, founder of Bote. Thus, their Business Lab is a program for entrepreneurs from refugee and migrant backgrounds that specifically caters to their needs.
The program is run by SINGA Business Lab, as part of Enterprise4Integration, in collaboration with Soleterre Onlus, Unione Artigiani della provincia di Milano and PerMicro – Microcredito in Italia and sponsored by JPMorgan Chase & Co.
The program kicks off with a 3-month pre-incubation program in March 2020. Then, the Business Lab kicks off in June 2020. For 5 months throughout the program, mentors and experts will help entrepreneurs with legal registration, fundraising, e business development.
